Duration: 1 Hr / 2.5 Hr Options Available
Course Fee: $70/pax or $145/pax
Recommended Class Size: Min. 20 pax and Max. 30 pax for Corporate Runs.
Corporate Training: 20 pax (10% discount), 30 pax (20% discount)

Training will be held at client's office or our training venue (6 Raffles Quay, #15-00, Singapore 048580).

Course Objectives

✓ Share practical tips to never take blurry photos again.

✓ Advanced settings available on SmartPhones, iOS and Android Phones.

✓ Basic Photography Theory, Perspective, Vantage Points, Rule of Thirds and Deadspace.

✓ Ways to Shoot Professional Photos with SmartPhone

✓ Participants will get time to practice BEFORE the class starts and AFTER, so they get to compare their photography shots by the end of the class and see the improvements just by applying basic photography theory!

✓ Start getting great shots and capture amazing memories for both Photos & Videos with your SmartPhones.

Course Content

1. Introduction to the workshop, workshop objectives:

- Trainer Introduction
- Quick understanding of iPhone & Android Users
- What do you hope to learn about photography with smartphones?

- Class Activity: Take 3 photos in 10 min (participants will be tasked to take the 3 photos they have initially taken at the start and end of the workshop to compare the difference and quality in their photos just by applying a theory they have learned during the workshop about “Shot Composition”)

2. Pro Camera Features available and how these features help us take better photos:

- What contributes to a photo turning out blur?
- How to Never Take a Blurry Photo Again
- Basic Photography Tips
- Setup: Turn ON High Definition Resolution (HDR) and The Grid

3. Shot Composition: Ways to start taking amazing photos

- Focus Tapping, Exposure Control
- Shot Composition: Introduction
- Shot Composition: Perspective
- Shot Composition: Vantage Points
(Lines in Photography, Streets, Buildings, Waters, Trees, etc)
- Shot Composition: Rule of Thirds
- Shot Composition: Deadspace

- Class Activity: Take 3 photos in 10 min (participants will be tasked to take the 3 photos they have initially taken at the start and end of the workshop to compare the difference and quality in their photos just by applying a theory they have learned during the workshop about "perspective" and "vantage points")

4. Tips for Shooting when travelling:

- Tips for shooting Fashion
- Tips for shooting Food
- Tips for shooting Places / Buildings / Attractions
- SmartPhone Portrait Mode: Why shoot in portrait mode?

5. Photo Editing with Apps:

- Trainer will introduce 2 apps to explore during the workshop, 10 min per app for trainer demo, including participants time to download the app.
- Participants hands-on practice with the Photo Apps.
- Hands-on: 10 min per photo app: Pick a photo you would like to edit.

6. Final Class Activity

- Final Practice Session (10 min)
- Q&A (10 min)

Important Note

Item (1), (2) and (3) can be covered in 1 hours (Max. 15 pax).
While, Item (1) to (6) will require 2.5 hours (Max. 20 pax) to complete.
Note: For bigger class size, more time will be required to deliver the content.

About the Trainer

Liyana Ahmad is a self-taught graphic designer, illustrator and an ACTA Certified Trainer. She shares her passion for design through illustration workshops with Adobe illustrator.

Aside designing and creating websites, Liyana trains in other subjects like Branding & Instagram Marketing with Sky Digital Agency, and creative topics like Adobe illustrator and SmartPhone Photography with The Good Designers.

She strongly believes that the training industry needs more courses and training with smaller group of participants that allows them a more conducive environment to learn, ask questions, and have more 1-to-1 time with the trainer.

Charmaine is the Founder, Creative Director & Chief Learning Officer of Sky Digital Agency and The Good Designers

Being a web designer by training, she designs, consults and trains individuals in design, seo, digital marketing, digital strategy, and creative topics like Infographics.

She started training and equipping her clients in Facebook Marketing, SEO Marketing, Email Marketing, Infographics and Web Design topics since 2015. Till date, she has conducted more than 1,500 hours of training, and she is an ACTA Certified Trainer.

Charmaine is passionate about training, and helping others through training. She makes learning interactive, practical and fun. She enjoys breaking down complex topics to help participants gain better understanding and find success in the digital marketing campaigns with FREE digital tools available in the market for Entrepreneurs, Trainers, Business Owners, and SMEs to leverage on.
